One of the most challenging sports in the Olympic Games is the 10 meter running target. Shot with airguns, this sport demands shooting a bull's eye that is moving across a 6-1/2 foot opening in only 2.5 seconds! And to top it off, the bull's eye is only 0.2 inches in diameter! Oh, by the way, all shooting is done from the offhand position and the rifle must remain off the shoulder until you see the target.
To meet the demands of this sport, Feinwerkbau has designed a special version of the P70 model. These guns have all the features of their regular counterparts plus these special running target features:
- Special adjustable stock for heads up shooting.
- A rifled barrel length of only 16.9" for a super short lock time which means less chance to "pull" a shot.
- A threaded barrel sleeve which totals 33.7" in length for optimum inertia and balance while swinging to follow the moving target.
- A dry-fire mechanism built in for practicing trigger control and shooting motion
- A special short loading gate which allows scope mounting.
- Are built only for scope use; no open sights are provided.
